Development of the Anchor Point tourist area

Development of the Anchor Point tourist area

Overview
The Unité d’Aménagement Touristique (UAT) Anchor Point is located 20 km north of Agadir, just north of the village of Taghazout and the new integrated tourism resort, Taghazout Bay. This area introduces a new form of niche tourism in the Souss-Massa region, combining authenticity with environmental respect.
The development and enhancement project for the Anchor Point UAT was designed following a collaborative planning model. It harmoniously integrates the forested area, respecting the local context defined by the emblematic surf spot “Anchor Point” and the forest resources dominated by argan trees.
This UAT offers fully equipped plots ready to accommodate tourism projects with a low land-use density. It spans 32 hectares, of which 20 hectares are designated for investors, and boasts a 1,948-meter-long oceanfront.

This project aims to position Anchor Point as a leading surf destination by offering eco-friendly accommodation and infrastructure. It also provides tailored plots for investors while ensuring sustainable development practices.
