Specialized Technician in Civil Engineering

As part of its human capital strengthening policy, the Souss Massa Regional Tourism Development Company (SDR) is recruiting the following profile:

Specialized Technician in Civil Engineering

Mission:

• Monitor technical studies, construction projects, and infrastructure/land development (VRD), and analyze their feasibility.
• Oversee the preparation of consultation files for contractors (preliminary quantities, cost estimates, specific and general specifications).
• Participate in identifying technical control requirements and closely follow up for each contract/project.
• Verify the accuracy of plans, sections, and other technical drawings.
• Attend and participate in the opening of bids for studies and works tenders.
• Ensure on-site monitoring of the proper execution of works in accordance with the specifications, standards, best practices, deadlines, and budgets.
• Contribute to the preparation, verification, and signing of partial and final measurements, work statements, and financial reports related to studies, works, and control/supervision missions.
• Represent SDR Souss Massa before external stakeholders and project partners (municipalities, administrations, etc.).
• Ensure the optimization of project implementation methods and resources.
• Prepare progress reports on project execution.
• Attend provisional and final work acceptance operations.

Required Profile:

• Holder of a Specialized Technician Diploma in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience in construction works, infrastructure development (VRD), and various types of site development.
• Possession of a valid B driving license.

Technical Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge.
• Mastery of infrastructure development and construction works.
• Proficiency in design and calculation software: Piste, COVADIS, ROBOT, AUTOCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project.
• Acceptable proficiency in Arabic, French, and English.
• Ability to produce monitoring and evaluation reports.
