Administrative and Financial Officer

As part of strengthening its organizational structure, the Souss Massa Tourism Development Company (SDR S.A.) is launching an external call for applications to fill the position of Administrative and Financial Officer within the Administration and Finance Department.

I. Presentation of the Souss Massa Tourism Development Company (SDR S.A.)

The Souss Massa Tourism SDR is a regional development company established under Organic Law No. 111.14 relating to regions.

Its missions include:

  • Contributing to the implementation of the national tourism strategy at the regional level;
  • Developing new tourism products in the region;
  • Enhancing the region’s cultural and natural assets;
  • Implementing projects related to the company’s purpose as a delegated project owner;
  • Ensuring the management and support of the tourism product;
  • Developing and managing the tourism destination, particularly through digital channels;
  • Mobilizing the resources necessary to achieve the objectives for which the company was established.

II. Main Responsibilities of the Administrative and Financial Officer

As an Administrative and Financial Officer, your role will be to manage overall accounting operations and tax filings, support the entire payroll process, and ensure processing efficiency, reliability of financial information, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. In this capacity, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing general and analytical accounting;
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations;
  • Overseeing payroll processes: collection of variable elements, payroll processing and accounting, and preparation of monthly social security declarations;
  • Ensuring financial control and timely payment of suppliers in accordance with contractual deadlines, while guaranteeing the accuracy and compliance of payment documents;
  • Managing treasury operations: recording bank transactions, performing bank reconciliations, and preparing and monitoring cash flow plans;
  • Analyzing, reviewing, and closing accounts as part of reporting activities (fixed assets management, inventory entries, audit files, etc.);
  • Participating in the preparation of annual accounts (financial statements and notes) and tax returns;
  • Ensuring the physical and electronic archiving of accounting and administrative documents;
  • Collaborating with various departments and proactively proposing solutions to resolve issues and ensure high-quality service;
  • Contributing to the improvement of accounting and financial processes by identifying opportunities for enhancement and proposing appropriate solutions.

III. Required Profile

  • Holder of a Bac+2/3 degree in management, finance, and/or accounting;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounting and/or taxation.

IV. Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, and legal matters;
  • Proficiency in IT tools (accounting and payroll software, Word, Excel, etc.);
  • Strong organizational skills, commitment, initiative, and ability to make proposals;
  • High sense of responsibility and confidentiality;
  • Good command of languages (Arabic and French);
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of customer service and active listening, essential for success in this role.
