Overview

The Drarga Animal and Leisure Park, situated 7 km from Agadir, spans 130 hectares within the forest domain, strategically located near the N8 national road and the North-East bypass of Greater Agadir.

Project Objectives

The development study for the Drarga Animal and Leisure Park, initiated by the SDRT Souss-Massa, aims to establish an animal entertainment center dedicated to outdoor recreational activities, including attractions, animations, and animal park projects, consistent with the development plan promoting such initiatives. This project aims to provide welcoming and educational leisure spaces for both the local population and visitors to Agadir, while enhancing the ecological and landscape heritage of a forest area marked by the presence of argan trees. It is noteworthy that this area currently hosts the publicly accessible “Crocoparc” reptile park, with the lion park under development.

Consistency

The park features 13 significant projects, including animal parks, amusement parks, leisure and entertainment clubs, and an educational farm. The park will be designed using landscape immersion techniques, sequential views, and natural habitats for animals. The infrastructure will consist of lightweight constructions harmonized with the park’s natural environment.
