Targua N’Touchka, located at the heart of the triangle formed by Ait-Baha, Tafraout, and Tiznit within the Anti-Atlas, occupies a strategic position that makes it an essential stop for treks across the area. The site is renowned for its palm grove, its weekly market, and an atypical traditional structure, Taguenza Iferd, which overlooks the oasis. It also serves as the starting point for several hiking trails, including routes to Ait Moussa, the Boutboukalt spring, and the National Park at the Youssef Ben Tachefine Dam.
The palm grove, consisting of century-old date palms, is unique to the province of Chtouka Aït Baha. It is nourished by three springs, each believed to have specific virtues in local traditions.
Identified as one of the high-potential priority projects in the Anti-Atlas study, SDRT Souss Massa has initiated an architectural study for the tourist development of the Targa N’Touchka spring.
