Rural tourism development

SDRT Souss-Massa, which has been involved in rural tourism development since its inception, currently oversees more than twenty projects financed by the Souss-Massa Regional Council. Adopting a participatory approach, it works with the communes, the services concerned and the local population from the identification of needs right through to implementation. These projects cover a variety of destinations, such as the beaches from Agadir to Tamri, the forests of Ida Outanane and the mountains of the Anti-Atlas, aiming to develop sites and create tourist circuits.
