Renovation of Tourist Accommodation in the City of Agadir

With a total budget of 120 million dirhams (MDH) spread over four years (2020-2024), the renovation and upgrading program for Agadir’s hotel establishments aims to energize and support tourism investment in the Souss Massa region.

Funded by the Ministry of Tourism, the Souss-Massa Regional Council, and the Agadir Municipality, the renovation mechanism—part of the Souss-Massa Regional Development Plan (PDR)—focuses on renovating tourist accommodation structures, improving service quality, diversifying accommodation offerings, and fostering customer loyalty.

Subsidies are provided, covering 30% of the total renovation cost, with a maximum cap of 10 MDH per establishment. Additionally, technical support is available to beneficiaries, including conducting necessary studies and services for the realization of their projects, as well as personalized assistance throughout the renovation process.
