Continuing the initiatives already undertaken for hotels in Agadir, SDR Tourisme oversees a specific program for the renovation and upgrading of rural tourist accommodations. This program, with a budget of 10 million dirhams, aims at improving the quality of rural accommodations and transitioning non-classified rural establishments toward official classification. This effort contributes to enhancing the tourism appeal of the region’s hinterland while maintaining and preserving existing jobs.
Funded by the Souss-Massa Regional Council, the program offers a subsidy covering 50% of the total renovation cost, with a cap of 400,000 dirhams per establishment, along with personalized technical support.
