Support for the Tourism Industry
To enhance the appeal of the tourist destination Agadir Souss Massa, the SDR Tourisme Souss Massa has implemented several support initiatives in collaboration with its partners. These initiatives include the renovation of tourist accommodation infrastructure in Agadir and its surrounding areas, the evaluation of tourist catering through targeted sectoral studies, and the strengthening of the competitiveness of tourism enterprises through initiatives such as “INMAA Tourisme,” inspired by the “INMAA Industrie.” model.
Renovation of Tourist Accommodation in the City of Agadir
As part of the Souss-Massa Regional Development Plan (PDR), a grant program for the renovation of hotels in Agadir has been established.
Support for Rural Tourist Accommodations
Rural tourist accommodations benefit from strengthened public support, provided by the Souss-Massa Regional Council, through subsidies and technical assistance from SDR Tourisme Souss Massa.
The "INMAA Tourisme" Program
LThe “INMAA Tourisme” program was created to support small and medium tourism enterprises (SMEs) in the region, inspired by the successful “INMAA Industrie” model. Its objective is to enhance service quality, create a conducive environment for business development, and enrich the region’s tourism products, particularly those linked to tourist entertainment.
Study on Restaurants Catering to Tourists
As part of its efforts to support tourism stakeholders in upgrading and enriching Agadir’s tourism offerings, SDR Tourisme Souss Massa conducted a diagnosis of restaurants located in the tourist area of Agadir.
