Aware of the strategic role that tourism and cultural animation plays in strengthening territorial attractiveness, SDR Tourisme Souss Massa has made this a key pillar of its intervention. In this regard, it is actively working to enhance the region’s animation offering through the direct management of major facilities such as the Médina of Agadir and the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella, as well as through rehabilitation and upgrading efforts targeting regional cultural infrastructures.

The Kasbah of Agadir Oufella
Listed as a historic monument in 1932 and 1944, the Kasbah bears witness to the greatness of the Saadian dynasty and all the communities that inhabited it. Today, the Kasbah is a place of living memory and cultural sharing.
