Timizar Silver festival – Tiznit

Participation of the Souss Massa Regional Tourism Development Company (SDRT) in the first edition of the Timizar Silver Festival, held in Tiznit from July 15 to 20, 2025

On the occasion of this symbolic event dedicated to the promotion of the silver value chain, the SDRT Souss Massa presented a curated selection of handcrafted silver pieces, drawn from a collection of 120 creations designed within the framework of an innovative project that blends local craftsmanship with contemporary design.

The company also took part in a conference entitled “Moroccan Jewelry: Between Living Tradition and Development Challenges,” by contributing to the panel dedicated to innovation. This intervention highlighted the methodology adopted in implementing the project, as well as the future prospects for ensuring its sustainability. Among the key priorities: supporting artisans, enhancing the value of their creations, and developing promotional and marketing channels, in close coordination with the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, and Social and Solidarity Economy, the Souss Massa Artisan House, the Souss Massa Region, and the Regional Chamber of Handicrafts.
