Signing of a Framework Partnership with the TIBU Maroc Association

On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, SDR Tourisme Souss Massa signed a framework partnership agreement with the TIBU Maroc association to coordinate the implementation of education and socio-economic integration programs for youth through sport in the Souss Massa region.

TIBU Maroc is a Moroccan NGO operating in the field of social innovation through sport. This framework partnership aims to support TIBU in the implementation of its regional development vision for Souss Massa, which includes the following objectives:

  • Implementation of programs focused on education, empowerment, and the socio-economic integration of youth through sport in the region.

  • Creation and mobilization of an ecosystem made up of the private sector, public institutions, civil society, and international organizations to promote and enhance the region’s natural resources and human capital.

  • Launch of new initiatives aligned with the territorial identity of the Souss Massa region, particularly those encouraging young people to use sport as a tool for promoting tourism—for example, hackathons and sport for sustainable development.

  • Strengthening the territorial attractiveness of the region and involving local stakeholders to create vibrant, dynamic, and inclusive communities through the power of sport.

  • Capacity building for local actors and civil society in the area of S4D (Sport for Development), to ensure skill transfer, sustainability, and long-term impact of initiatives in the region.
