Presentation of the Progress of the Tourist and Landscape Development Works in the Ait Mansour Valley

Tafraout, Saturday, April 10, 2021 – A presentation was held on the progress of the tourist and landscape development works in the Ait Mansour Valley.

Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, and Ms. Nadia Fettah Alaoui, Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Air Transport, and Social Economy, accompanied by a large delegation, visited the Adad and Aguerd Imlalen sites. The progress details were presented by Mr. Abdelkrim Azenfar, Director General of SDR Tourisme Souss Massa.

On the sidelines of the visit, two agreements were signed by SDR Tourisme Souss Massa:

  • One regarding the management and tourism animation of the Ait Mansour Valley, in partnership with the Commune of Afela Ighiret and the Oukass Cooperative.

  • Another for the development and equipment of a tourist information kiosk in Tafraout, in partnership with the Souss Massa Regional Council, the Commune of Tafraout, the Provincial Council of Tiznit, and the Tafraout Tourism Development Association.
