
Mr. Wali of the Souss Massa Region Visits Wintimedouine Cave in the Commune of Admine
On Friday, April 5, Mr. Said Amzazi, Wali of the Souss Massa Region, visited the Wintimedouine Cave located in the commune of Admine.
During this visit, Mr. Wali inspected the progress of the development works at Wintimedouine Cave, situated in the Idaoutanane tourist reception area, about sixty kilometers from Agadir. The cave is considered one of the largest in Africa, featuring 19 kilometers of galleries, of which 6,630 meters have already been explored.
The project components include, among others, the development of a parking area, rest zones, modular picnic facilities, informational signage, restrooms, and solar-powered lighting. The surroundings of the cave have also been enhanced with improvements to the existing basin and the cave entrance.
The project costs amount to 3.8 million dirhams, financed by the Souss Massa Regional Council.
