Excavations Continue at the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella

Launched on March 15, 2021, the second phase of archaeological documentation and monitoring works for this rehabilitation project is being carried out by a Moroccan-Spanish team composed of experts from the National Institute of Archaeology and Heritage Sciences in Rabat and the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Madrid.

The mission will last for one month. The work program mainly focuses on the southwestern watchtower and the areas of the mosque and the gate.

Archaeological field documentation as well as a study of the archaeological materials are also planned.
