Honey festival – Aqesri

The Souss Massa Regional Tourism Development Company (SDRT) took part in the official launch of the Honey Festival, held on July 17, 2025, in the commune of Aqesri, under the supervision of the Wali, Mr. Said Amzazi, and in the presence of numerous institutional, economic, and civil society stakeholders from the region.

On this occasion, the Director General of SDRT delivered a presentation on the progress of the development works of the tourist sites included in the “Honey Route,” highlighting the following points:
– Completion of the first phase of development in the Paradise Valley,
– Prospects for launching the second phase of works within the same valley, as part of an integrated vision for sustainable territorial development.

This year’s edition of the festival, organized from July 17 to 19, 2025, featured a rich and diverse program, including:
– An awareness campaign under the theme “Keep it clean, keep it zouine,”
– Hiking trips and mountain biking circuits in the valley,
– An exhibition of honey and honey-derived products showcasing local beekeeping know-how.
