Closing of Argane and Handicraft Exhibition

Agadir, January 19, 2026

Argane and Handicraft Exhibition, organized in Agadir from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, is officially concluded yesterday after four weeks of showcasing Morocco’s exceptional local and african products and traditional artisanal skills.

Held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and organized in conjunction with Agadir’s hosting of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), this major event provided a strategic platform for cooperatives and artisans from the Souss-Massa region. It successfully boosted the profile of local products for both domestic and international audiences.

The organizers, the Wilaya of the Souss-Massa Region, the Regional Council of Souss Massa, ANDZOA, Maison de l’Artisan, and SDR Tourisme Souss Massa, have expressed their satisfaction with the success of this edition. Beyond meeting its goals for regional promotion, the exhibition had significantly enhanced Agadir’s cultural scene and tourist appeal throughout its duration.

All the partners of this project extend their sincere thanks to the exhibitors, participants, and visitors who contributed to the success of this landmark event. By bridging tradition with modern economic development, the exhibition remains a vital pillar for cultural identity and the social and solidarity economy.
