Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Green March

On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, the Medina of Agadir marked the 50th anniversary of the Glorious Green March, with the Wali of the Souss Massa region, the President of the Regional Council, along with elected officials, institutional representatives, local authorities, and members of the media in attendance. This commemoration was held as part of the “Colors and Creations of Africa” exhibition, which took place at the Medina of Agadir from October 27 to November 6, 2025.

The evening offered a varied artistic and cultural program, featuring performances by Ahwach and Sub-Saharan African troupes, craft and painting exhibitions, as well as pottery, zellige, and drawing workshops for both adults and children.
