About us

« In our view, tourism, in addition to being a highly important economic activity, represents a culture and an art of communicating with others. From this perspective, its development requires judicious exploitation of our rich and varied natural potential and our centuries-old civilizational and cultural heritage, known for its traditions of hospitality. »

His Majesty King Mohammed VI (March 26, 2013)

« The Souss-Massa Region is set to become an economic hub linking the northern and southern parts of Morocco, linking Tangier in the north and Oujda in the east with our Saharan provinces. This orientation is part of the advanced regionalization process, designed to ensure an equitable distribution of wealth between the Kingdom’s regions. »

His Majesty King Mohammed VI (November 06, 2019)

About

Aware of the strategic importance of the tourism sector for territorial development, the Souss Massa Region has placed tourism at the heart of its Regional Development Plan (PDR). In line with this vision, the Souss Massa Regional Tourism Development Company (SDR) was established as the operational institution responsible for bringing this ambition to life.

Beyond the implementation of the PDR, SDR Souss Massa is committed to carrying out concrete actions in close collaboration with all stakeholders in the tourism sector. It strives to establish effective governance by involving local actors and providing the necessary financial and decision-making resources.
